1) How long does it take to become fluent in Japanese?
A: We are frequently asked this, and our answer is that it really depends on
the time
students spend studying, taking lessons and motivation. On average,
current students who did not have any experience with Japanese language
begin to speak conversational Japanese in three to four months of taking
our lessons.
2) How does private lessons work?
A: Private lessons are held via Skype, which is downloaded for free.
Communication between Skype to Skype is free, and this program offers
high quality sound and connectivity. We will communicate through voice
chat and text messaging system. So you learn both oral and written
Japanese, just like in person tutoring!
3) How can I reserve for private lesson?
A: Please click "registration and inquiries" tab and fill out your contact
information. We will call you upon receiving your registration form. We can
discuss about lessons further, and we can set up an appointment.
4) What is the cancellation policy for private lesson?
A: We are flexible on cancellation, as we understand that technical problem
might occur since our lessons are held online. However, we expect you to
contact us by phone or email to let us know that lesson is cancelled.
5) Is there discount for the course?
A: Yes. We often offer discount during certain period of time. So please
check our website frequently to see if there is any promotion. We
recommend you to reserve for the course when there is promotion or
discount.
6) Is tutor from Japan?
A: Yes. All our tutors are native speakers from Japan. So you learn real
spoken Japanese. All our tutors are bilingual and possess minimum of
bachelor degree in related subject. To provide quality lessons, our tutors
are carefully screened and trained.
7) What is the difference between online courses and in person tutoring,
classes etc?
A: Benefit of online courses is that you can learn at your own convenient
time and location. Nowadays most people are busy with their school and
work schedule. Since online tutoring session enables you to take lesson
without having to drive to school, where tutor is located etc. Consistency is
extremely important to successfully master a new language. So this program
has been great help for busy students and working professionals. You learn
both written and spoken Japanese, so this is just like in person tutoring.
8) How can I make a payment for the course?
A: All courses are prepaid via Skype. Please go to "Course Selection" tab
and make a payment via PayPal. Once payment is received, we will email you
to confirm.
9) What kind of books are used, and are they included in course fees?
A: No. You are required to get a copy of book called (Genki 1 or 2 depending
on your level) and it is not included in your rate. So you have to purchase a
book on your own. For upper intermediates and the advanced, materials will
be included in hourly rate.
